Well, 2015 has been a hell of a year.
The thing that obviously marked my year was starting to work for Automattic: work from home, travel around the world each two or three months, meet more than a hundred new people (most of them during our crazy Grand Meetup)… So many new things, what an hectic time.
Also, the company Sheila work for was adquired by the company where she interned while she was finishing college, and she ended being assigned to the same team she used work at and she loved.
I started this blog, started gifgifgif.net, managed to finish a game for a Ludum dare (Still waiting for finishing a real, complete game… Someday), improved my english quite a lot… And we finally visited Japan, after talking about the trip for years.
Also, we visited a ton of houses looking for one to buy… We even did a couple of (unsuccessful) offers. So I hope this is going to be one of the big things to come in 2016.
New places visited:
- San Diego, CA, and Park City, UH (USA)
- Paris (France)
- Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo (Japan)
- Tbilisi (Georgia)
- Segovia (Spain)
So, let’s see if 2016 can keep up with the pace. 2015 is going to be hard to beat.
